Beautiful day today. A swim in the lagoon and lunch in the yacht club. Onwards to Brisbane tonight.

Today in Port Douglas, we went on a crocodile spotting boat trip - saw 4 of them.

More shipboard life

First formal night tonight and we have found a great place to have lunch.

First Port

Newcastle yesterday. Very cold after the heat of Sydney. 14C compared to 36C.
Had a nice day ashore and first dinner in the dining room and first evening show. Enjoying our first time with a balcony.

Boarding the ship

Today we boarded the ship. All went easily except that D&T got on before us because they were one deck higher than us. It was VERY hot but we survived it. Settled in nicely and enjoyed the departure out of three Harbour

Sydney

Flight to Sydney was painless. Nice to meet D&T. Hotel fine. Had a quick look at the night noodle market in Hyde Park, dinner in Japanese street restaurant.

We will go see the ship when she arrives at 6AM

Family and Friends

Christine and I will be sailing on Radiance of the Seas with Tricia and Darryl this Sunday -- 11 days to North Queensland, Sydney to Sydney. I will attempt to post some photos to this Blog using my smartphone - I have never done it before so am unsure how well it will turn out. Anyway -every time I post to the Blog, you will get an email.

We are all looking forward to it. Hope it isn't too hot up North!!
